Governor Jim Pillen and the Nebraska Department of Veterans' Affairs will be celebrating 80 years of victory by honoring Nebraska's World War II veterans in the Nebraska State Capitol Rotunda on May 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
We will be presenting a group of WWII veterans with their medals but are also inviting the WWII veterans who have already received their medals to join if they can to also be recognized.
