Marine Captain Dustin R Lukasiewicz, 29, of Harlan NE was assigned to the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Camp Pendleton CA. He died 5/12/2015 when the UH-1Y Huey helicopter he was in went down in the mountains of Nepal.
Marine Corporal Daegan W Page, 23, of Omaha NE was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton CA. He was killed 8/26/2021 as the result of an enemy attack while supporting non-combatant evacuation operations in Kabul Afghanistan.
