Veterans Legislative Day will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 in the Warner Chamber at the State Capitol. Veterans Legislative Day is an annual event to discuss Nebraska Legislation pertaining to veterans and their families.
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the event will begin at 8:30 a.m. Anticipated guest speakers include Governor Jim Pillen, NDVA Director John Hilgert, and Nebraska State Senators.

The Nation of Patriots flag is returning to its home state in honor of our veterans. Meet them at the SAC Museum and see Astronaut Clayton Anderson then ride to SumTur Amphitheater for more celebration and festivities where Governor Jim Pillen will be speaking. There will be bikes, food, entertainment and vendors. Help them bring the flag back and help support the soldiers who have protected our country. Visit their Facebook event page.

The 13th annual 2023 Veterans Freedom Music Festival will be held at the Antelope Bandshell in Antelope Park from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Free Parking and Admission. Visitors should bring their own chairs and coolers. Alcohol and pets are not allowed (other than service animals).
