Stop Overdose Nebraska works to educate the public about life-saving Narcan, a fast-acting drug that can save someone who is experiencing an opioid overdose. Anyone can input their zip code to find a pharmacy nearest to them to obtain Naloxone (Narcan) at no charge along with education on how to properly administer it in a time of need. A prescription from a doctor is not needed to get a naloxone kit. Anyone who is at risk for an overdose, their friends, family, etc. can get a kit. Each kit comes with two 4mg/0.1 ml doses of naloxone.
