Nebraska Veterans Aid is administered by the Nebraska Department of Veterans' Affairs and provides assistance to eligible veterans and their dependents who are experiencing a financial hardship. Assistance includes paying for emergency food, rent/mortgage payments, utilities, eye glasses, hearing aids, preapproved dental bills, medical bills, transportation, and funeral expenses when normal payment methods have been exhausted.
