Message from the Administrator
Central Nebraska Veterans’ Home pursues excellence in quality care knowing our veterans, Nebraska heroes, have sacrificed much in service to this great country and deserve our best! Some may be uncomfortable being referred to as a hero, but please know, you are important to us!
A rich history of serving veterans is found throughout our facility, the size of which may seem overwhelming at first, but is well balanced with cozy home-like neighborhoods and larger common spaces. It lends itself to a wide variety of activities year round – patriotic displays at the Central Nebraska Veterans Memorial or fun fishing in our pond in warmer weather and plenty of indoor space for members to gather for activities in the winter (music concerts, Bingo, shuffleboard, pool table, church, movies, gyms, etc.).
Military service is something our members have in common, but each has a different story and we respect the differences making them unique. Our teammates take great pride in getting to know each member and their family. It is an honor and privilege to serve those that trust us with their care.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your incredible story!
