The Commission consists of five members appointed by the Governor for a term of five years. (State Statutes 80-401.06 - 80-401.07)
Duties:
The Veterans' Advisory Commission investigates the handling of veterans affairs under the Director of Veterans' Affairs. The commission also acts as an appeal board for the Nebraska Veterans' Aid Fund. (State Statute 80-401.09)
