The Lancaster & Saunders Counties American Job Center’s Grand Opening Celebration will occur on February 23, 2023, at 10am at 1330 N Street. This event is free and open to the public.
The February 23 ceremony will feature remarks by Sherla Post, Chairperson, Greater Lincoln Workforce Development Board; Leirion Gaylor Baird, Mayor, City of Lincoln; and John Albin, Commissioner, Nebraska Department of Labor.
Additionally, Matt Mason, Nebraska’s poet laureate, will read a poem written for this occasion, and two job seekers served by the AJC will share their stories.
Light refreshments and tours of the center will be offered after the ceremony.
