When: November 16th - November 20th, 2022
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Student Veterans and the University of Iowa Veterans Association are rucking from Memorial Stadium to Kinnick Stadium to raise awareness of veteran and military member suicide. The 325-mile ruck march will start Wednesday November 16th, 2022. Team Nebraska will hand off the game ball to Team Iowa on November 20th at Freedom Rock in Menlo, Iowa. Iowa will deliver the game ball to the November 25th Cornhuskers vs Hawkeyes football game. Rucking will be divided into shifts of roughly 20 miles each. Those rucking are asked to carry 20 pounds of personal belongings to honor the 20 veterans who take their own lives every day.
