Korean War Veterans Armistice Day Ceremony

Flyer detailing Korean War Veterans Armistice Day event

On July 24, 2026, NDVA and Governor Pillen will be hosting a special ceremony at the Nebraska State Capitol to recognize Nebraska's Korean War veterans. Korean War veterans in attendance will be presented with a special challenge coin housed in a blue velvet presentation case in recognition of their service. More details on this event will be shared with registrants this summer.

For those unable to attend NDVA's Korean War Veterans Armistice Day event, we are working to partner with veterans service organizations around the state to provide them with materials to host their own events. A list of events that have been shared with us is available on our Korean War Recognition Program page.
