Public Veteran Events

The Norfolk Veterans' Home is holding its annual Fourth of July celebration at NVH Tuesday, June 28th, starting at approximately 8 pm. The event will involve the home's members, teammates, their families, and the public.

NVH received donations from local service organizations for the fireworks. SAL will be sponsoring the musical entertainment for the evening, Stonehouse Band. The Big Bang Boom committee is in charge of setting up and lighting the fireworks. 

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2022 Nebraska Women Veterans Symposium a resounding success! Patriotic Productions is inviting the public to a Patriotic Parade & Concert that honors Gold Star Families and Veterans. Our nation's Gold Star Families will be honored as they lead this parade in Downtown Omaha. All Gold Star Family members are welcome from any era and will receive a t-shirt to wear (must RSVP).
