VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (VA NWI) will host a Stand Down on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Nebraska-Omaha Milo Bail Student Center, 6001 Dodge Street. The event will offer services for Veterans that are homeless or at risk of losing housing. Veterans seeking assistance can walk-in to the event to register for support. Individuals or organizations wishing to support homeless Veterans can call CDCE at 402-995-3282.
