On Friday, October 17, 2025 VA Nebraska-Western Iowa is hosting a Stand Down event for veterans that are homeless or at risk of losing housing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the UNO Milo Bail Student Center, 6001 Dodge Street, Omaha.

When: Sunday, August 24, 2025, 12:15 p.m.

Come to Nebraska Brewing Company Tap Room & Brewery on Sunday, August 24 for the emotional and inspirational conclusion of the sixth annual 50 Mile March: Operation Home Base. Nearly 200 marchers and almost 100 volunteers will complete their 22+ hour, 120,000+ step journey from Walton, NE to LaVista, NE on Sunday, August 24th, and we want you there to welcome them with us.

The Lincoln Veterans Advisory Group is holding the 12th annual Show & Shine Car Show on May 21st, 2025 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Star City Shores in Lincoln. Come out to see some amazing cars and get connected with VA Healthcare, VA Benefits, and other Veteran Service Organizations and groups. Learn more at the Veterans Advisory Group's website.
