Vietnam War period veterans and their families are invited to join Governor Jim Pillen and the Nebraska Department of Veterans' Affairs for a Vietnam War Veterans Day Proclamation Ceremony and Lapel Pin presentation. The ceremony will take place on March 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the Warner Chamber of the Nebraska State Capitol.
Vietnam War period veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the period of November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of location, and who have not yet already received a lapel pin, are eligible to receive one.
