Waiver of Tuition is a state program available to dependents of an eligible veteran that may be used to waive 100% of a student’s tuition charges and tuition-related fees to the University of Nebraska campuses, Nebraska state colleges, and Nebraska community colleges.
Nebraska residents who are enlisted members of a Nebraska-based unit of the Active Selected Reserve may be eligible for a 50% tuition credit to the University of Nebraska campuses, Nebraska state colleges and Nebraska community colleges through the Reservist Tuition Credit Program.

National Call to Service Program
The National Call to Service Program is a benefit available to those who performed a period of national service and can be an educational assistance incentive.
Students can be reimbursed all required fees for national tests through the National Testing Program. Approved tests include national admissions tests and national tests for college credit.

The Veterans Educational Assistance Program is available if you elected to make contributions from your military pay to participate in this program. The government matches contributions on a 2-for-1 basis.
Dependents Educational Assistance Program
The Dependents Educational Assistance Program provides education and training opportunities to eligible dependents and survivors of certain veterans.
The Montgomery GI Bill is available to those who enlist in the US Armed Forces and provides education benefits to eligible members.
The Post 9/11 GI Bill provides up to 36 months of education benefits for approved programs.
